Like a drum beating furious, vibrating my heart, getting louder and louder, ripping me apart.
I dance to forget, the music, floating me away, To a fantasy I created, where I wish to always stay.

It haunts me deep in the night, When all my defenses are down, I come up screaming and fighting, Only to find myself lost in a dream.
Now I can only feel the anguish, The deep rooted connection, All that transforms across time, To make me lost in this world.
I can’t see the hidden path, It is blocked by the fog, Unable to rescue me, As I continue to on….
